Free for now
Velorido is still in development. It is free to ride for now, it will have faults, and roads, features and your progress may change or be reset as it develops. We may pause the service or end free riding at any time.
Your account
You sign in with an account of your own and keep it to yourself. You must be at least 16 years old to ride.
Your health
Riding an indoor trainer is hard exercise. Ride only if you are fit to, stop if you feel pain, dizziness or shortness of breath, and ask a doctor first if you have a heart condition or any doubt. Velorido gives no medical or training advice, and the numbers it shows are estimates.
Your trainer
Velorido sets your trainer's resistance from the road's gradient. Set your trainer up as its maker says, on firm level ground, and stay in control of your bike.
Conduct
Ride fairly and treat other riders with respect. Do not cheat, for example by feeding the game false power; do not interfere with the game, its servers or other riders; and do not try to get around a suspension.
Suspension
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or that puts the service or other riders at risk, without notice where that is needed to stop the harm. If you think we got it wrong, write to the address on the imprint page.
Liability
We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaching an obligation essential to the service, and then only for damage that is typical and foreseeable. Otherwise we are not liable.
The law
These terms are governed by German law. If you ride as a consumer, the protection of the law where you live still applies. We may change these terms; a change applies from your next ride after we publish it here.
